Brazil to receive Russian helicopters

According to the press service of the Russian Helicopters Company, a contract for the supply in 2015-2016 of the latest Russian Ka-62 helicopters to Brazil’s Atlas Taxi Aereo Company was signed in December of 2012.
They are based on the high standards of security, ecological friendliness and fuel efficiency.
The Ka-62 helicopters are meant for the transportation of 14 passengers or 2.5 tons of cargo. Besides, it can be used in the oil-and-gas sector and for rescue operations.
Russian companies have put on display its choppers at the Heli-Expo 2013 exhibition, which has kicked off in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Russians will specifically show the helicopter Ka-62, known for their fuel efficiency and flight operating safety.
The other Russian-made helicopters on display are the upgraded multipurpose Mi-171 chopper, and also the Ka-32A helicopter, which is especially effective in search and rescue operations.
